Description

Zero Gravity exists because talent is spread evenly, but opportunity isn't. For seven years we've helped students from low-opportunity backgrounds into top universities and careers, and Zero Gravity Tutor takes that into the classroom, for every student in a school.

Zero Gravity Tutor is our AI Learning Platform for schools. It launched in April 2026 and it is already in classrooms across England and in the hands of thousands of students. Teachers are loving it, (AI sceptics included!) and when schools see it, the majority adopt it.

We only really have one bottleneck - not enough schools have seen it yet. Your job is to build the engine that fixes that.

Why now

  • We've got seven years of pedigree working with nearly 1,000 schools across the UK - more than doubling students' chances of breaking into top unis.

  • We're a team of Award winning Education Technologists and Ex-Teachers - we're talent dense with experience scaling EdTech globally and overflowing with domain knowledge.

  • We are part of the government's AI Pioneers programme, testing AI tutoring with schools and the Department for Education

  • We're already speaking at events with EdTech Impact, on EdTech Main Stage at the Schools & Academies Show and on our own stand at Bett 2027.

Built for builders

There is no playbook to inherit here. You will decide what we test, ship it, measure it and tell us plainly what worked and what to kill. You get real ownership, a test-and-expand budget, a commercial team who mostly come from schools, and leaders who will be in the room with you at every stage. You will not get a channel to optimise or a plan someone else wrote.

This role is probably for you if you have been the first or one of the first marketers somewhere and built the engine yourself. It is probably not for you if your best work has been optimising one channel inside a large team, or if your experience is mostly consumer or paid-only acquisition.

We're building a new category; and we need someone who can thrive in the opportunity and ambiguity.

  • Own the demand engine for Zero Gravity Tutor end to end: help set the strategy, run the channels and campaigns, and own the outcome as we take the product to schools. You'll help write the playbook that doesn't fully exist yet. You'll build it, run it, and improve it as we go.

  • Own our events end to end: the conferences we attend (BETT, ASCL, Schools & Academies Show) and the ones we run ourselves (webinars, roundtables, our own schools events), from logistics through to the follow-up

  • Build and run the account-based campaigns that move teachers and leaders from first touch to sign-up, and freemium sign-ups to paid, watching activation and conversion, not just lead volume

  • Build our top-of-funnel presence where our buyers already are (LinkedIn for senior leaders, teacher communities and Facebook groups, the education press), so that when a headteacher starts looking, we're already the name they know

  • Turn wins into an engine: case studies, quotes, references and referrals that power the next campaign and keep the pipeline full

  • Diagnose the funnel and forecast it: find where sign-ups, MQLs and pipeline leak, propose and test fixes, set clear metrics on every campaign, and keep a data-backed view of where we stand and which lever to pull next

  • 🚀 | Build a category: AI Learning is in its infancy, your work will have a direct impact on how millions of students learn for decades to come.

  • 🏃‍♀️ | Monthly Socials: Join us for fun team socials, completely on-the-house. Quarterly, we go big with sports days, BBQs, and more

  • 💻 | Company MacBook: Get the latest Apple gear to stay ahead of the game

  • 💂‍♀️ | Central London Office: Work from our beautiful Zero Gravity HQ in Barbican/Old Street, while enjoying flexible WFH options

  • 📈 | Share options: Own a piece of Zero Gravity with our 'Zero Gravity For All' options scheme

  • 🎄 | Christmas Shutdown: Enjoy 3 extra festive days off, plus 25 days of annual leave and 8 bank holidays

  • 💳 | Zero Gravity Card: £500 annually to spend on your personal development with your very own Zero Gravity Card

  • 🩺 | Private Healthcare: Extensive private health insurance, including dental, mental health support, and gym discounts

  • You have built a marketing engine from close to zero before, as the first or one of the first marketers, rather than running one someone else built.

  • You default to solving problems using AI; agentic workflows and analysis.

  • A track record of driving MQLs and pipeline through a mix of events, ABM, digital marketing and multi-channel campaigns

  • Hands-on across email, marketing automation and drip campaigns, and comfortable building nurture sequences that move people from first touch to closed won

  • You own direction, not just execution: you balance the day-to-day campaigns with the strategy that builds the funnel over the year, diagnose where the funnel breaks, and would rather ship, measure and improve than wait for the perfect plan

  • Specific, not generic: you can explain why a campaign works, who it is for and what you would do if it fails, using real examples from your own work

  • Passionate about impact: you care about outcomes, not outputs, and you want the work you do to genuinely change life chances

Nice to have

  • Experience working with schools, multi-academy trusts, or the wider education sector

  • Familiarity with UK education: how schools buy and adopt software, and the rhythm of the school year

  • Experience taking a go-to-market motion from early traction to scale

  • Have worked in a company at the 20-50 person stage, where everyone does more than their job title suggests

  • PR or earned-media experience, or the appetite to build our share of voice through press and thought leadership
