Demand Management Director
Summary
Lead Asia demand planning, transform S&OP/S&OE processes, and drive forecast accuracy and operational performance across cross-functional teams.
Lead the Asia Demand Planning function to transform planning processes, improve forecast accuracy, and drive operational and business performance through cross-functional collaboration and strategic leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional demand planning strategy aligned with business goals to enhance forecast accuracy and operational effectiveness
- Lead and coach the Demand Planning team to achieve high performance and foster continuous improvement
- Drive excellence in S&OP and S&OE by establishing robust governance, defining KPIs, and optimizing planning processes
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to improve forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory performance
- Lead planning transformation initiatives to increase demand visibility, streamline processes, and support data-driven decision-making
- Provide executive-level reporting and manage critical escalations to ensure timely resolution and informed leadership decisions
- Represent Demand Planning in leadership forums and act as the primary liaison across Asia to align commercial and manufacturing plans
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive people leadership experience in demand planning or supply chain
- Proven expertise in Demand Planning, S&OP/S&OE, and cross-functional collaboration-Implemented or improved S&OP/S&OE processes /Led planning transformation or change management initiatives/Implemented planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, SAP APO, Oracle)/Standardized planning processes across regions or business units
- Strong leadership, analytical, and change management skills demonstrated by driving continuous improvement
- Willingness to travel within Asia and work overlapping U.S. hours as needed
