Summary
Oversee demand planning and forecasting for FMCG products across international markets, aligning supply with sales and inventory needs using ERP/MRP systems and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement demand planning processes and forecasting methodologies to support regional business operations across international markets.
- Prepare reliable demand forecasts by evaluating historical sales performance, market trends, and commercial inputs.
- Integrate key demand factors, including promotions, tenders, new product launches, and product lifecycle transitions, into forecasting activities.
- Maintain accurate product (SKU) and customer master data to ensure effective planning and reporting.
- Track forecast accuracy, analyse deviations, identify underlying causes, and recommend process improvements to enhance forecast reliability.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align demand plans with business strategies and market requirements.
- Convert commercial forecasts into actionable demand plans to support procurement, inventory, and supply planning activities.
- Proactively identify potential inventory risks, including stock shortages and excess inventory, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Support ongoing enhancements to planning processes, reporting tools, and data integrity to improve operational efficiency.
- Generate reports and provide analytical insights to support planning and business decision-making.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in demand planning, supply planning, or supply chain operations, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Prior experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, with SAP knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with hands-on experience in forecasting, demand analysis, and inventory management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools will be beneficial.
- Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain and inventory planning processes.
- Self-driven, resourceful, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and regional markets.
