Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate 8-Quarter demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, customer and marketing input
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to gather information and insights for demand planning
  • Monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, capacity utilization and inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability to meet customer demand
  • Analyze and report on demand trends, identifying potential risks and opportunities
  • Implement and manage demand planning software and tools
  • Coordinate with supply planners and production teams to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Conduct regular reviews of demand forecasts and adjust plans as necessary
  • Responsible for the monthly SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Process)
    • Schedule meetings, prepare data, involve all necessary people/departments
    • Prepare and present demand planning reports to senior management
  • FYI key responsibilities may change by different location or segment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management
