Demand Planner Hungary
JOB PURPOSE:
The Demand Planner creates the demand plan & manages the service level for the country/MSU.
The Operations function ensures the integration of all key business processes from supplier to customers, providing products, services and information that add value for customers and stakeholders. The function manages sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain (warehousing, logistics and distribution) and planning processes and ensures optimal alignment between demand and supply taking into account efficiency, required flexibility, security of supply and considering costs, working capital, quality levels, service levels, company and society values.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing service level for the country/MSU.
- Hands-on responsibility for forecast creation, review, and performance tracking.
- Improving Forecast accuracy & Forecast bias.
- Identifying & resolving service risks, with escalation to the Central Supply Planner for decision-making in case of stock shortages.
- Determine ABCD classification & calculate proposed safety stock settings. Safety stock settings are approved and maintained in the system by Central Planning.
- Communicate product availability (including NPDs) vs demand to Customer Service.
- Monitor slow moving and potentially obsolete stocks & propose improvement actions for approval by Central Planning.
- Check / maintain in SAP master data related to planning
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree,
- Minimum 2 years of Demand Planning experience;
- MUST have: Experience with SAP;
- Understanding of end-to-end S&OP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Nice to have: experience with OMP tool
- Good communication skills;
- Highly analytical and accurate;
- Eager to take ownership and initiative;
- Results driven;
- Capable of influencing others;
- Very good English both written and spoken & fluent Hungarian
- Work experience within an FMCG company is a great plus
