Demand Planning Analyst, East Asia (1-year maternity cover)
We are seeking a contract Demand Planning Analyst to support the East Asia Joint Replacement, Trauma & Extremity demand planning team. The role will be based in South Korea and will provide analytical, data preparation, reporting, and system execution support for Korea demand planning activities.
- Support the East Asia demand planning process by maintaining accurate demand forecasts and ensuring high data quality across the planning cycle.
- Analyze demand trends, forecast variances, and business drivers to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable insights for planners and stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly Demand Review and Executive Demand Review (EDR) materials, including data packs, performance analysis, and follow-up action tracking.
- Manage planning systems and data governance activities, including forecast uploads, demand plan maintenance, master data validation, and reporting accuracy.
- Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and Regional teams to capture business inputs, resolve issues, and improve forecast quality.
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, documentation, standardization, and compliance with company policies and controls.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical knowledge and experience.
- Basic understanding of planning, operations, supply chain, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and work with Pivot Tables.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn quickly, exercise sound judgment, and work independently with appropriate guidance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related function. Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant academic or internship experience are also welcome to apply.
- Practical experience applying analytical and problem-solving skills in a planning or operations environment.
