Demand Planning Expert - Power Tools
Summary
Plans and validates demand for power tools, aligns supply with sales, and manages inventory/logistics using SAP and Kinaxis in a manufacturing context.
Demand Planning
▪ Execute demand planning for “core” and “event” demand at BU level (GT) - SKU, Warehouse, CSO, Customer level.
▪ Provide final demand to supply, inventory planning consisting of standard demand, phase-in/ phase-out, new launches, promotions, cannibalization.
▪ Lead demand validation as part of the S&OP process in the respective CSO's within the region. Collaboration with BU (LOP,LOG, MKX) & Sales.
▪ Ensure forecast quality and deliver related KPIs
Supply Control
▪Day-to-day operational control & steering of FG supply (e.g. exception management) from plant/Buyout supplier/RDC to regional/local distribution center
▪Monthly Demand Review Meeting (DRM) with ChiP to align on demand fullfillment & exception mangement.
▪Initiate actions in case of supply issues (e.g. transportation delay) in collaboration with GS/OSD & ChiP/LOG.
▪ Monitor & Track material availability at CDC & LDC's.
▪ Maintainance of Inventory structure & material master data with ROP at CDC & LDC's.
▪ Support overstock management, non-moving (>180 days) & collaborate with sales & MKX & identify measures deployed.
▪ Single point of contact for businuss operations, Sales and marketing for supply-related topics.
▪ Master data maintainance & update (SAP-P13, PCD & Add-one).
BOP Tasks :
Logistics
▪ Material Data Management (MM extension for IN60 from PT-SPOT, Info record maintainance, condition record update, standard price updation, , release D-chain status)
▪ Regional co-ordination with Sales, MKX & BOP.
▪Foreign trade: Pre-alert, GmbH invoice posting in EXIM, checklist verification, address customs query, FTA, claim management.
▪SCC optimization.
▪ Co ordination with GS/OSD, GS/OSP,Freight forwarder , CHA & LSP.
Reports
Inventory, Availability, AQ tracking, Forecast accuracy & Bias, other Business reports.
B.E./B.Tech.,
Preferred: MBA in Supply chain or Operations Management.
10+ Years of relevant domain experience.
Expert Knowledge : Demand & Supply planning,Inventory management, logistics.
Technical skills : SAP (MM & SD), Proficiency in SAP, Addone, Excel, digital knowledge, Kinaxis
