The Opportunity

The Demand & Supply Planning Manager is responsible for leading operational planning processes that ensure product availability, inventory optimisation and supply continuity across Australia and New Zealand.

The role owns demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory execution, replenishment planning, supplier planning alignment and master data governance. Working closely with Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Logistics and Customer Service teams, the role converts demand signals into executable supply plans that support customer service, inventory and financial objectives.

The Demand & Supply Planning Manager owns the operational plan and is responsible for ensuring planning assumptions are translated into accurate and achievable execution outcomes.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Own demand forecasting across SKU, customer and channel levels, incorporating commercial insights, market drivers and promotional activity.
  • Develop and maintain executable supply and replenishment plans across immediate and 26-week planning horizons.
  • Manage supplier constraints and supply risks, developing mitigation plans to protect product availability and service levels.
  • Lead inventory optimisation, including safety stock, MRP settings and replenishment parameters, while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Drive supplier planning alignment, lead-time governance and replenishment accuracy across operational partners.
  • Maintain planning master data and systems integrity, ensuring accurate and reliable planning outputs.
  • Deliver planning KPIs, analytics and data-driven recommendations to improve forecast, inventory and service performance.
  • Provide planning inputs into the monthly S&OP cycle and partner closely with Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Logistics and Customer Service teams.
  • Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities across supply, inventory, supplier performance and logistics.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in demand planning, supply planning or integrated operational planning within a complex supply chain environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment, supplier management and end-to-end planning principles.
  • Experience working with suppliers, freight providers and/or co-manufacturing partners.
  • Exposure to supply chain optimisation, logistics improvement or network efficiency initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and data-driven decision-making capability.
  • Advanced systems capability, including ERP and demand planning platforms.
  • Experience using Power BI, SQL and reporting tools to support planning analysis and visibility.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • A strong focus on execution, process discipline and continuous improvement.
