Ready to take your culinary career to the next level? As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in supporting our talented kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. What you will be doing:
- Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
- Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and strive for guest feedback
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to hotel recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP and hotel policies
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering
- Support the training and guidance of junior kitchen colleagues when required
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum of 2u20133 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an international hotel environment
- Culinary qualification or relevant professional training is an advantage
- Good knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and HACCP food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in accordance with hotel standards
