Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) — Bakery — Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

A well-established hospitality and F&B company in Riyadh is looking for an experienced Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to run the bakery station, preparing breads, viennoiserie, and baked goods to consistent quality and presentation standards across a busy multi-outlet operation.

6 months contract for Riyadh Season Event.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, viennoiserie, and other baked goods to recipe and quality specifications
• Manage the bakery station during service, ensuring consistent quality, texture, and presentation
• Set up and break down the station, including mixing, proofing, and shaping doughs ahead of service
• Maintain proper hygiene, temperature control, and food safety standards (HACCP) throughout preparation and storage
• Monitor stock of flour, yeast, and other bakery ingredients, coordinating replenishment with the kitchen team
• Support the Chef de Partie and pastry/bakery team during peak service and high-volume periods
• Guide and support junior kitchen staff (commis) assigned to the station
• Maintain and clean ovens, proofers, and station equipment according to safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a DCDP, baker, or similar role in a hotel, restaurant, or large-scale F&B/bakery operation
• Strong knowledge of bread-making and baking techniques
• Working knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good physical stamina; comfortable with early/split shifts common to bakery operations
• Conversational proficiency in English
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
