Dental Assistant – Full-Time (4-Day Work Week & 3-Day Weekends!)
Practice: Maricopa Dental Center
Location: Maricopa, AZ (21300 N John Wayne Pkwy, Suite #128)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday (Balanced daytime hours - No Fridays, Weekends, or Late Nights!)
Compensation: $20.00 – $23.00 / hour (DOE) + Monthly Team Performance Bonus Potential
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly

We are seeking a reliable, high-energy, and patient-focused Dental Assistant (DA) to join our clinical team!
The Role: What You'll Do
As a Dental Assistant at Maricopa Dental Center, you are the heartbeat of our back-office operations. Working directly alongside our doctors and clinical team, you will prepare treatment rooms, assist across a wide variety of clinical procedures, capture crisp digital radiographics, and ensure our patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:

Chairside Assisting: Provide seamless 4-handed chairside assisting during general, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical dental procedures.

Digital Imaging & Diagnostics: Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and assist with clinical charting.

Patient Care & Comfort: Welcome patients, review health histories, explain treatment steps, and maintain an empathetic chairside manner to put patients at ease.

Operatory Management: Prepare, breakdown, sanitize, and restock treatment operatories efficiently between patient appointments.

Instrument Sterilization & Safety: Manage instrument processing, maintain sterilization equipment, and strictly adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.

Team Collaboration: Partner closely with doctors, hygienists, and front-office administrative staff to ensure smooth daily schedule density and timely appointment flow.
What We Are Looking For

Certifications (Required): Active Arizona Dental Radiologic Proficiency / X-Ray Certification (REQUIRED).

Experience: Prior chairside Dental Assisting experience in a multi-provider or fast-paced practice setup preferred (Open to strong entry-level DAs with great drive!).

Technical Acuity: Familiarity with digital radiography, dental software, and standard chairside setups.
