The Center for Dental Excellence is seeking a skilled and compassionate full time Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. The Center for Dental Excellence: 19615 Governors Highway Flossmoor, IL
Office Hours: (Schedule will be 30-40 hours within these office hours)
- Monday 9:30 am - 7:00 pm
- Tuesday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Wednesday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Friday 7:30 am - 2:00 pm
- Saturday 7:30 am - 2:00 pm (2 per month)
Our dedicated team includes:
- 6 General Dentists
- 5 Specialists
- One clinical supervisor
- One administrative supervisor
- 6 Registered Dental Hygienists (a few temps on call)
- 6 Dental Assistants
Compensation:
- $21-$23 per hour (Commensurate with Experience)
Requirements:
- Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification preferred but not required
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
- Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
- CPR certification
- Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
- Integrity-focused work ethic
- Team-player attitude
- Ability to multi-task
- Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback
