Dental Assistant | Lumino Botany | Full Time

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with our clinicians and wider practice team to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while providing excellent patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting our dentists during a range of dental procedures
• Providing chairside support and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures
• Sterilising instruments and maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control
• Ensuring clinical areas are clean, organised and ready for patients
• Supporting the wider practice team with general duties as required
• Helping create a welcoming and positive experience for our patients

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or within a similar clinical environment
• A friendly, professional and caring approach to patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work well as part of a busy and supportive team
• A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Current New Zealand work rights
