About the Position: This position is located at 87th Medical Group, MTF McGuire, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Assist dentist in providing treatments to patients, which are complex, difficult, usually lengthy, andnonroutine in nature.
Prepare patient for surgery.
Receive and seat patient and conducts preliminary screening.
Set up instruments, equipment, and materials such as assembling syringes and IVs for anesthesia, and mixing materials for impressions and restorations.
Take preliminary impressions; pour and trim models from impressions; and construct base plates and bite rims.
Observe patient throughout treatment for signs of syncope, shock, or other reactions to treatment.
Relay dentist's instructions to patients for post-treatment care such as application of hot or cold packs or medications.
