Your Schedule: Mon & Tues 8-6pm, Th 1:30-7pm & Fri 8-1pm
Pay rate: $19-$24/hr
Qualifications
- 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred
- Dental assisting certificate from an accredited vocational school preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of preventive and restorative dental procedures
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care
What You’ll Do as a Dental Assistant
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
- Take digital X-rays, panoramic images, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos.
- Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
- Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
- Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the dental software.
- Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
