Dental Assistant | Part Time| Lumino Feilding

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team at Lumino Feilding.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy team environment, and takes pride in helping create a positive experience for every patient.

Hours:

• Monday-Friday : 8:15am to 5:15pm

As a Dental Assistant, your role will include:

• Assisting our dentists and hygienists during a range of dental procedures
• Providing chairside support and helping ensure patients feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
• Sterilising instruments and maintaining high standards of infection control
• Supporting patient arrivals and helping maintain accurate patient records
• Assisting with appointment scheduling and general administration when required
• Working closely with the wider practice team to help keep the day running smoothly

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous Dental Assistant or healthcare experience, although training can be provided for the right person
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A friendly, professional, and empathetic approach to patient care
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Great attention to detail
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety
• The ability to work well as part of a collaborative team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
• Valid New Zealand work rights
