Dental Assisting Adjunct Instructor
Description
Seeking qualified part-time candidates to teach accredited dental assisting courses, which may include Dental Radiography, Preclinical Procedures, Dental Materials, and Dental Health Education.
Example of Duties
Duties will include holding office hours, maintaining accurate documentation, creating and assessing assignments and test, conducting laboratory demonstration and evaluation. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff. Classes may be seated, hybrid, or online. Work hours may include day or evening classes.
Typical Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Diploma in Dental Assisting and current DANB certification. Preference will be given to applicants with community college or university teaching experience in dental assisting, and to applicants with experience working with online course management systems (such as Moodle or Blackboard).
