Lead an On-Site Dental Laboratory in Evansville, Indiana
Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking an experienced Dental Lab Manager to lead our on-site dental laboratory in Evansville, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Denture Technician, Full Denture Technician, or Dental Laboratory Technician who combines advanced hands-on denture fabrication skills with leadership ability.
As Dental Lab Manager, you will oversee daily laboratory operations while continuing to perform hands-on fabrication of full and partial dentures, removable prosthetics, and implant-related dental appliances. You'll lead and develop laboratory team members while partnering closely with the dental practice team to support high-quality patient care.
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus
A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to qualified Denture Technicians.

Dental Lab Manager Responsibilities
The Dental Lab Manager oversees daily laboratory operations while maintaining hands-on responsibility for denture fabrication and quality control.
Denture Fabrication & Technical Responsibilities

Fabricate full and partial dentures from start to finish.
Set denture teeth according to prescribed treatment plans.
Perform denture wax-ups, including festooning and tooth carving.
Complete rough and fine finishing of dentures.
Perform denture repairs and relines.
Pour and trim denture models.
Support same-day denture services when applicable.
Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, fit, function, and turnaround times.
Provide technical assistance with complex denture and removable prosthetic cases.
Follow established OSHA protocols, laboratory procedures, and safety standards.

Leadership & Laboratory Management

Oversee day-to-day operations of the on-site dental laboratory.
Provide hands-on technical training and development for laboratory technicians.
Cross-train team members in all areas of denture fabrication and laboratory production.
Help evaluate technician performance, skills, and training needs.
Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative laboratory environment.
Lead by example with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality.
Communicate effectively with laboratory team members and the dental practice team.
Partner with the practice to support efficient case production and best-in-class patient care.
Help implement new laboratory products, techniques, and technologies.
Perform other laboratory management and technical duties as assigned.

Dental Lab Manager Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Significant professional experience fabricating full and partial dentures from start to finish.
Advanced hands-on experience with:

Denture tooth setup
Denture wax-up
Festooning and tooth carving
Rough and fine finishing
Denture repairs and relines
Pouring and trimming models

Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, during regular laboratory and practice business hours.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental laboratory environment.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, patient service, and laboratory safety.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with dental implants and implant-supported prosthetics.
Same-day denture experience.
Previous Dental Lab Manager, Lead Dental Technician, or Laboratory Supervisor experience.
Experience training or developing dental laboratory technicians.
Experience working in an on-site dental practice laboratory.
