Dental Laboratory Technician

About the Position: This position is located at Womack Army Medical Center, Directorate of Dental Health Activity, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The candidate will be assigned to one of 6 Dental clinics. Work is primarily done in the laboratory fabricating orthodontic appliances, dentures, veneers for crowns, fixed dental prostheses and implant restorations. The operating hours are M-F, 0715-1615 excluding federal Holidays. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Fabricate metal substructures for porcelain and acrylic veneers.

Fabricate porcelain veneers for crowns, fixed dental prostheses, implant restorations, and all-ceramic crowns through the application of appropriate ceramo-metal techniques.

Prepare orthodontic set ups and other appliances such as night guards, splints, stents, sleep apnea devices, and tooth position devices.

Pour accurate casts from all types of impression materials.

Perform acrylic resin repairs and modifications to oral prosthetic devices.

Maintain cleanliness of equipment, work area, and laboratory.
