Dental Office Manager -(Pediatric & Orthodontic Practice)

Location: Valley Stream, NY
Base Salary: $90,000-$110,000/year + Bonuses
$3,500 Sign-On Bonus

About Us

Pediatric Dentistry of Valley Stream is searching for an exceptional Dental Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our thriving pediatric and orthodontic practice. Our patients range from infants through adolescents, and we strive to create a fun, positive dental experience that keeps families coming back. Compensation & Perks

Base Annual Salary: $90,000-$110,000 (commensurate with experience)
$3,500 Sign-On Bonus

Schedule

Full-Time | 42-48 hours/week
Monday - Friday, weekends as needed
On-Site at our Valley Stream, NY location

Key Responsibilities

Manage all daily front and back office operations
Lead and support staff using a servant leadership approach
Oversee scheduling, billing, daily closeouts, and clinical flow
Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and pediatric dental standards
Track and analyze KPIs: production, collections, payroll, and expenses
Handle escalated patient concerns with professionalism and empathy
Train staff on new systems, policies, and performance goals
Motivate staff through recognition, coaching, and performance development
Supervise insurance verification, benefit reviews, and patient financing
Collaborate with HR on staff development, coaching, and performance feedback

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of dental experience
Minimum 2 years of dental leadership or office management experience
Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred
Orthodontic experience highly preferred
Strong understanding of dental insurance, billing, scheduling, and treatment coordination
Experience with Dentrix, or similar practice management software
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
College degree or advanced certifications preferred
Must be able to commute to Valley Stream, NY
