Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Denter to join our automotive repair team. As a Denter, you will play a critical role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition by performing precision dent removal and panel repair on both exterior and interior surfaces. Responsibilities:
  • Perform precision dent removal using specialized tools such as pullers, heat guns, and adhesive systems
  • Inspect damaged panels to assess the extent of damage and determine optimal repair approach
  • Realign and reshape metal panels to factory specifications using frame machines and measuring systems
  • Conduct paintless dent repair (PDR) on minor dents, dings, and creases without compromising surface integrity
  • Prepare surfaces for refinishing by sanding, priming, and masking as needed
  • Collaborate with estimators, technicians, and supervisors to ensure accurate repair timelines and quality standards
  • Maintain and calibrate dent repair equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations during all repair processes
  • Document repair procedures and outcomes for quality assurance and customer records

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Denter or in a similar automotive body repair role (minimum ${minexperienceyears} years required)
  • Certified in Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) or equivalent training and credentials
  • Proficient in the use of dent pulling tools, frame machines, heat guns, and other specialty equipment
  • Strong understanding of automotive body construction, metal properties, and structural integrity
  • Ability to interpret repair estimates and work from technical diagrams or digital measurements
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety standards, environmental compliance, and proper waste disposal procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive technology or body repair is preferred
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
