Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients — preventive, restorative, and emergency treatments
- Conduct exams, diagnose oral conditions, and build individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on oral health and hygiene
- Manage patient behavior and anxiety to keep visits positive (and maybe even fun!)
- Collaborate closely with assistants, hygienists, and office staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold all safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program
- Valid NC dental license
- Valid SC dental license
- Specialty license
- Excellent communication skills — especially with children and families
- Team-oriented, compassionate, and patient-centered mindset
