Pay
HK$97,787 to HK$116,855 (HMPS Pt 9 to 14) per month including Monthly Allowance
An additional monthly Management Responsibility Allowance of HK$2,000
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities\:
- Make planning in service rationalization and development within the cluster in accordance with the directions and annual plan of HA.
- Assist in the development and implementation of organization policies and plans, provide input in the formation of policies of the department/units.
- Develop clinical department plans and budgets.
- Manage operational activities of the clinical department/units.
- Be responsible for resources and financial management of the clinical department/units.
- Implement and evaluate the recruitment, deployment and retention strategies for staff.
- Maintain quality assurance in the delivery of patient care of the clinical department/units.
- Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing policies and standards within the department/units.
- Facilitate and participate in the development of nursing profession.
Entry Requirements\:
- Holder of a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
- Qualification in advanced nursing specialty*.
- 10 years or more post-registration experience of which at least 5 years is in a management role.
* Qualification in advanced nursing specialty refers to recognized post-registration certificate, or post-graduate certificate/diploma course in nursing specialty, or Master in nursing# or related discipline with considerable coverage on a relevant nursing specialty.

Preferred Attributes / Exposure\:
- Demonstrated ability in advanced managerial skills with track record of excellence in health care management and contributions to professional development including research/evidence-based practice, teaching and training.
- A Master degree in nursing or related discipline.
- Qualification in management*.
* Qualification in Management refers to post-graduate certificate/diploma or Master in health service related management, or Master in nursing# or other discipline with considerable coverage on health service related management.
