Deploy Director F/M/X

The Global R&D Deploy Director is a global role within Royal Canin, based at the Royal Canin headquarters in Aimargues, France. The role operates transversally across global, regional and factory organizations and connects R&D strategy with operational execution across the manufacturing network.

What are we looking for?

• 15+ years of total experience in R&D, Operations, Supply, Engineering, Industrialization, Quality & Food Safety, Product Development, or related functions.
• Significant experience leading people and global / regional teams in a complex, multicultural and matrixed organization.
• Strong experience in product and process industrialization, manufacturing scale-up, factory validation, specification governance and product launch execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead innovation, renovation, Must Do, business continuity and sustainability projects from concept / design handover through industrial implementation and post-launch performance.
• Experience working in a regulated quality and food safety environment, with strong understanding of product conformance, process validation, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Proven ability to prioritize complex portfolios, allocate resources, manage trade-offs and influence senior stakeholders across R&D, Supply, Commercial, Q&FS, Engineering and regions.
• Strong technical and business acumen, with ability to connect pet health, product quality, operational feasibility, cost, sustainability and business performance.
• Experience with global manufacturing networks, factory teams, regional execution teams and investment / CVS projects.
• Demonstrated capability to lead transformation, build organizational capability and embed new ways of working.
• Digital and data literacy, including ability to use dashboards, digital tools and data-driven decision-making to improve transparency, prioritization and deployment performance.
• Experience in pet nutrition, food, FMCG, or another technically regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Lead global deployment of the Royal Canin and Eukanuba portfolio

• Own global R&D accountability for deployment of Royal Canin and Eukanuba products across markets, manufacturing sites and relevant product formats, including dry, wet and other applicable formats.
• Ensure formula governance for Royal Canin and Eukanuba portfolios, maintaining global alignment of nutritional profiles, product performance, quality attributes and regulatory requirements.
• Define, maintain and deploy product and process specifications, including key quality attributes, quality attributes, process parameters, validation standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure innovation, renovation, Must Do, business continuity, sustainability and product transfer projects are deployed on time, in full and with robust product and process conformance.
• Monitor Must Have List deployment and define action plans to improve deployability, reduce complexity and support business priorities.
• Ensure post-launch monitoring of product and process performance, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement with Design, Q&FS, Supply, Commercial and regional teams.
