Deposit Operations Specialist II

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing certain functions within the Deposit Operations area, which include but are not limited to wire processing, ACH processing, setup and changes to deposit accounts.

Major Duties and Accountabilities:

• Takes part and embraces the Legacy Culture and gives outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist customers and internal employees with various deposit account questions regarding stop payments, transfers, overdrafts, interest calculation, fee assessment or debit card transactions, etc.
• Review and process return checks, ACH returns, and other applicable deposit-related exception items.
• Establish, modify, review, and release collateral holds.
• Process account maintenance requests, including account type changes, rate changes, address changes, and all other deposit account changes.
• Answer phone calls from customers and internal employees regarding personal and business internet banking concerns. Assist in new enrollment, logon issues or general questions regarding online banking, mobile banking, bill pay or Zelle.
• Review Mobile and Commercial Deposit Systems to process transactions multiple times daily.
• Reconcile any/all internal accounts which may be assigned.
• Compile monthly reports for various areas.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
