Deposit Operations Specialist
Summary Description
Responsible for executing critical functions within the Deposit Operations division, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency in daily operations.
Essential Functions
- Track and file either digitally or physically required documents pertaining to deposit accounts
- Perform deposit maintenance on core system and auxiliary software systems
- Process and support card functions
- Process and support IRA functions
- Process wire transfer requests
- Process exception items including but not limited to deposit non-post, incoming returns and ACH disputes
- Perform quality control reviews on all deposit functions
- Review and/or work periodic deposit reports
- Adherence to all regulatory compliance policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to both customers and branches
Position Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 6-12 months general banking or equivalent experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of bank reconcilement procedures preferred
- Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
- Typically, the employee may sit to perform the work. However, there may be some standing, walking, bending, and carrying light items during work.
