Summary of Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Entry-Level Redeployment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a natural aptitude for problem-solving, a keen interest in technology, and a readiness for hands-on, in-person training and work. You will be responsible for receiving and prepping various hardware for redeployment, including handheld devices, terminals, scanners, servers, laptops, printers, cash drawers, and security components, in a fast-paced environment that requires meticulous attention to detail and a professional demeanor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive material into stock following company and customer standards.
  • Identify the manufacturer model numbers of used equipment.
  • Triage customer hardware for redeployment, ensuring condition and functionality meet specified requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with customer hardware.
  • Clean and package equipment for redeployment.
  • Adhere to customer contracts for warranty, third-party, or internal repairs.
  • Process RMA, warranty, and disposal orders.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance of equipment and parts according to contracts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and triage records as per company and customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding customer equipment and needs.
  • Handle devices safely to prevent damage during repair and processing.
  • Follow safety guidelines for the depot repair area.
  • Assist in maintaining the depot repair area.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management.
