This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection (DCP), Administrative Management and Operations Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in Washington, D.C. Salary reflects a pay cap for this position of $315,000.
Serves as the senior Division executive providing direction and oversight for the Division's functions related to budgeting and financial reporting; human resources management and training; information systems, security, and technology; procurement; and internal review and control activities and business continuity and ensuring that these functions are effectively executed in accordance with Division and Corporation objectives and priorities, as well as within statutory requirements and corporate policy guidelines. Builds collaborative relationships with stakeholders in the Division and throughout the Corporation to achieve Division and Corporation objectives and priorities, including by representing the Division in meetings and on committees. Recommends options to the Director for achieving Division and Corporation objectives and priorities based on data, analysis, and corporate policy guidelines. Provides executive oversight of the coordination of audit activity with the Office of Inspector General, the General Accountability Office, the Office of Corporate Risk Management, and the Office of Corporate Management Control. Exercises supervisory personnel management authority directly or indirectly through subordinate senior managers, to include planning, assigning, and reviewing work products of subordinates; establishing guidelines and performance expectations; and evaluating work performance and providing feedback. Identifies training and developmental needs for staff and provides regular recognition of staff. Works in collaboration with the appropriate Human Resources and Legal staff to administer disciplinary action. Hears and resolves grievances or other disputes as appropriate. Approves/disapproves requests for leave, telework, travel, training, and other matters.
