Deputy Director - Leasing

This position is designated as SES, General. USDA structures its SES positions into position levels. This is a position level 2 with a salary range of $204,122 - $216,010 per year. Exceptions to the salary cap may be considered in certain circumstances. SES employees are also eligible to receive bonuses and performance-based awards. Supports USDA’s formal lease acquisition process, including conducting market research, developing requests for proposals, reviewing and analyzing proposals, and developing board cases.

Develops leasing program goals and long-range plans and objectives.

Performs lease oversight, including conducting lease audits, and managing a portfolio of leased commercial office and non-office properties.

Conducts studies to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of USDA's leasing program(s)

Develops national space management and leasing policy in accordance with the Federal Management Regulation
