Deputy General Manager, Institutional Banking

Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive business development and relationship management strategies specifically tailored for major international asset management and quantitative investment institutions.
- Leverage industry networks and professional expertise to build high-converting client acquisition channels, securing mandates from key target segments.
- Coordinate internal resources across product development, risk management, and middle-to-back offices to design, innovate, and market bespoke financial solutions.
- Drive the marketing and implementation of cross-border investment and financing, global custody, treasury transactions, and structured products.
- Lead and upskill a high-performing team to elevate professional service standards, establishing the department's market leadership in emerging financial fields.
- Take P&L accountability to achieve significant growth in business scale, market share, and revenue.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Minimum 8 years of institutional banking or markets experience within foreign banks, international investment banks, top global asset management firms, or professional financial services firms
- At least 2 years of proven leadership experience at the Executive Director (ED) or Managing Director (MD) level
- Demonstrated success in directly covering large-scale asset managers, quantitative investment institutions, global pensions and global sovereign wealth funds, etc.
- Experience in securities investment or financial markets sales is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of financial market regulations, cross-border compliance, and trading mechanisms in both Hong Kong and Mainland China
- Exceptional client relationship management skills, sharp commercial acumen for product innovation, and fluent proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese)
