The candidate will work closely with project, commercial, procurement, and finance teams to ensure effective financial planning, cost control, and compliance with company policies.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><p>Manage project budgeting, financial planning, and cost control activities.</p></li><li><p>Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and identify variances.</p></li><li><p>Prepare financial reports, MIS, cash flow forecasts, and project cost statements.</p></li><li><p>Analyse project profitability, margins, and financial performance.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with project managers and internal stakeholders to track project costs and financial commitments.</p></li><li><p>Monitor vendor payments, project billing, receivables, and outstanding amounts in coordination with the relevant teams.</p></li><li><p>Support preparation of project-wise financial forecasts and periodic financial reviews.</p></li><li><p>Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.</p></li><li><p>Assist in audits, financial reconciliations, and preparation of supporting documentation.</p></li><li><p>Identify financial risks and recommend measures to improve cost efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Support management in financial decision-making through data analysis and reporting.</p></li><li><p>Ensure timely submission of financial reports and other project-related financial information.</p></li></ul><h3>Required Skills</h3><ul><li><p>Strong knowledge of project finance, budgeting, and cost management.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.</p></li><li><p>Experience in MIS preparation, financial analysis, and variance analysis.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and audit processes.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage deadlines.</p></li></ul><h3>Preferred Experience</h3><ul><li><p>Experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, construction, or project-based industries.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar financial management software.</p></li><li><p>Experience in project costing, cash flow management, and profitability analysis.</p></li></ul><h3>Key Competencies</h3><ul><li><p>Financial planning and analysis</p></li><li><p>Budgeting and cost control</p></li><li><p>Stakeholder management</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail</p></li><li><p>Decision-making and problem-solving</p></li><li><p>Team coordination and reporting</p></li></ul>
