Job Purpose: Team Member - Rail Operations focuses on real-time monitoring of train movements, ensuring schedule adherence, coordinating with dispatchers and stakeholders, and promptly addressing any operational issues to maintain efficient and safe rail transport logistics.

Train Tracking and Monitoring:

  • Track train locations and status in real-time, providing accurate and timely updates to stakeholders.

Capacity Management:

  • Verify and document train arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate cargo information and tracking railcar movements within the terminal.

Incident Management:

  • Monitor and report incidents or irregularities, assist in developing contingency plans, and communicate critical information about train operations to internal teams.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Collect data on train movements, dwell times, and incidents, and assist in preparing performance reports to identify improvement areas and optimize efficiency.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in train monitoring activities, reporting concerns or violations to relevant authorities

Digital Mindset:

  • Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Key Stakeholders - Internal:

  • Lead - Rail and terminal operations

Education Qualification:

  • BE/Btech , ME/M.TECH/MBA

Work Experience (Range of years):

5-8 years of relevant experience in train monitoring and control.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the rail industry, focusing on real-time train operations and monitoring systems.
