DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary

Assist the Project Manager in implementing projects by overseeing engineering tasks, managing project costs and timelines, coordinating with authorities, and performing site activities to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in executing project plans and activities to meet objectives
• Oversee engineers in preparing method statements, drawings, material management, and tracking work progress to ensure quality and compliance
• Manage project costs to keep expenditures within budget and monitor site activities to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with relevant authorities on submissions, inspections, and testing to comply with regulatory requirements
• Perform assigned tasks at work sites to support project execution and supervision
• Apply experience in diaphragm wall and piling works to support project technical requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board
• Minimum 6 years of experience in LTA / MRT projects
• Proficient in English language communication
• Skilled in using computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
