Dermatology Clinical Aide – Front Desk & Patient Support

The Clinical Aide will work closely with the dermatologist and staff to ensure smooth daily operations, excellent patient experiences, and consistent clinic growth.

About Us

Aliso Dermatology is a new and growing dermatology clinic dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and building strong connections with our community. We’re looking for a motivated, adaptable, and resourceful Clinical Aide who can wear many hats and support both the clinical and administrative sides of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Front Desk Coordination: Welcome patients, manage scheduling, check-in/out, answer phones, and handle insurance/registration tasks.
• Patient Coordination: Assist with patient flow, prepare exam rooms, provide follow-up communications, and support patient education.
• Medication Coordination: Help with prescriptions, pharmacy communications, and prior authorization processes.
• Administrative Support: Handle medical records, coordinate referrals, track supply orders, and maintain organized systems.
• Social Media & Outreach: Support the clinic’s digital presence by posting updates, sharing community events, and helping with marketing efforts.
• General Clinic Support: Be the “go-to” person for day-to-day needs, jumping in wherever necessary to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in healthcare, medical assisting, or administrative support preferred (but not required—willing to train the right candidate).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfort with technology (EMR systems, email, social media platforms).
• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities as the clinic grows.
• Welcome pre-med or pre-pa students
