Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Dermatology Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is positive, motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about both medical and cosmetic dermatology.

- Strong knowledge of dermatology terminology, procedures and patient care protocols

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual is helpful, but not required
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and document intake in EMR (Modernizing Medicine/ModMed)
- Obtain consents for procedures
- Prepare and assist with procedures (biopsies, excisions, MOHS)
- Set up and maintain sterile procedure environments
- Prepare lab specimens for processing according to insurance requirements
- Provide patient education and reinforce treatment plans (pre/post care)
- Perform suture removals and dressing changes
- Assist with clinical photography
- Clean instruments and operate autoclave
- Scribe for physicians and APRN/PA providers
- Handle patient communications, including calls, prescription refills, and pathology results
- Perform Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
- Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and prepared for patient care
- Assist with biologic injections and training
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience required
- Interest in both medical and cosmetic dermatology
- Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Dermatology Tech or LPN
