This is a mid-level backend engineering opportunity focused on building and evolving critical systems within a technology-driven financial environment.
You will work on registration, onboarding, and integration platforms using C#, .NET, APIs, workers, messaging, and distributed systems.
The role combines new development, system maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, observability, and technical modernization.
You will contribute to reliable, scalable, and resilient services that support important customer and business processes.
The position offers significant technical ownership, requiring autonomy, investigative thinking, and careful consideration of risks and dependencies.
You will collaborate through code reviews, technical discussions, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Accountabilities:
As a Backend .NET Developer, you will contribute to the development, evolution, and reliability of backend services and integrations. You will work across APIs, asynchronous processing, databases, messaging, observability, and production support while helping modernize systems and reduce technical debt.
- Develop, evolve, and maintain REST APIs, Worker Services, and backend services using C# and .NET.
- Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems through HTTP-based communication.
- Work with messaging, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.
- Develop solutions using relational and document-oriented databases.
- Investigate and resolve issues end to end by analyzing APIs, queues, services, logs, and databases.
- Write clean, readable, testable, and resilient code.
- Create and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration testing.
- Implement observability best practices, including structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Design and handle failure scenarios involving exceptions, timeouts, cancellations, unavailable services, and duplicate messages.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and the continuous evolution of backend solutions.
- Support the investigation and resolution of production incidents.
- Contribute to system modernization initiatives and technical debt reduction.
- Assess potential impacts, risks, and dependencies before modifying existing integrations.
- Use AI tools responsibly to support development, testing, investigation, and technical documentation.
- Solid professional experience with C# and .NET, particularly ASP.NET Core.
- Experience developing REST APIs and Worker Services.
- Practical knowledge of asynchronous programming using async/await and CancellationToken.
- Experience with dependency injection and .NET application configuration.
- Experience developing and maintaining HTTP-based integrations.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Professional experience with Oracle or SQL Server.
- Experience writing unit tests using xUnit, Moq, or equivalent frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and code review practices.
- Practical knowledge of Docker.
- Understanding of messaging, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, separation of responsibilities, and Clean Code.
- Ability to diagnose issues using logs, payloads, HTTP status codes, metrics, and persisted data.
- Ability to understand contracts between services and assess the potential impact of integration changes.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, or Redis is a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS services such as SQS, SNS, and S3, as well as Kubernetes, is a plus.
- Experience with Dapper, Entity Framework Core, Refit, Polly, or MediatR is a plus.
- Experience with integration testing and Testcontainers is a plus.
- Knowledge of observability, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines is a plus.
- Experience working with distributed, business-critical, or high-volume systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of API security, JWT, and data protection is a plus.
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture, DDD, or CQRS is a plus.
- Experience with AI or LLM-based solutions applied to software development is a plus.

Requirements:
