As an engineering manager you will lead a team of engineers and designers creating the world's greatest Vacuum machines that service communities all around the world.

Engineering Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Creates and maintains BOM Configuration and designs for customer products
• Works with Sales staff to create sales drawings for products sold
• Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel
• Leads teams in the development of new iterations of designs, and solutions to meet customer needs
• Oversees project logistics and resource allocation.
• Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.
• Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies.
• Develops/Expands on existing process to configure BOM for custom vehicles
• Communicates technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including potential customers and shop floor personnel
• Maintains high level expertise in their field or sector
• Assures that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines.
• Collaborates with other team leaders and departments
• Forges and maintains relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Reviews design and provides guidance for manufacturability as well as design performance/durability
• Must be able to review FEA models and provide feedback on designs.
• Assist with Load assumption for modeling criteria based on static and dynamic loading

Engineering Manager Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience creating modular BOM structure to meet product mix

• Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms and tools

• Inventor a plus
• FEA experience is required
• CFD experience a plus

• Experience using Infor Visual or other ERPs

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

• BS in engineering required
• 4-5 years relevant work experience
• 3 years management experience
• Master's degree in engineering, engineering management or MBA a plus
