Regular weekday business hours — nights and weekends are rare.
Room to grow
This role is hired with growth in mind. As your skills develop, there's room to take on larger responsibility — deeper design work, a path toward sales, or a hand in running the business side.
What you'll do
- Welcome the showroom — greet walk-ins, answer questions, help visitors explore displays and samples
- Serve as each customer's communication touchpoint — check-in calls, emails, and texts that keep them informed and reassured
- Coordinate scheduling and follow-ups so every project's details keep moving
- Support selection appointments, helping customers finalize design selections and documenting each choice
- Keep selection records accurate, and the showroom sharp with samples current
What we're looking for
- An eye for design, color, and style — you notice what works in a room
- Personable and polished in person; warm and professional on the phone and in writing
- Ambitious and eager to learn — drive matters more than a long résumé
- Organized — you keep details straight across several projects at once
- Comfortable learning software and systems (we'll train you on ours); you take pride in customers feeling taken care of
Why work for Kitchen Tune-Up
- A local, family-owned company where you'll work directly with the owners
- Real training and a role built to develop
- Variety every day: showroom visitors, design selections, and customers mid-project
- You'll see kitchens go from first sketch to finished room — and help customers love the experience
