Design consultant

Summary

The Design Consultant meets with clients to develop interior design concepts, produce 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Archicad, and manage project execution from planning through to site supervision.

1.Meet clients to understand project requirements, design preferences, and budget.

2.Prepare interior design concepts, mood boards, and space planning proposals.

3.Produce interior and architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Archicad.

4.Develop 2D drawings, 3D visualisations, layouts, and detailed design documentation.

5.Select suitable materials, furniture, lighting, colours, and finishes for projects.

6.Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

7.Conduct site visits, inspections, and monitor renovation or fit-out progress.

8.Revise drawings and designs according to client feedback and site requirements.

9.Ensure designs comply with safety standards, building regulations, and project specifications.

10.Prepare quotations, project schedules, and material specifications.

11.Manage multiple projects and ensure timely project completion within budget.

12.Maintain proper documentation and project records throughout the project lifecycle
