Design Drafter

The Design Drafter will be an integral part of our order-processing team, helping develop and deliver engineering details and CNC programs to the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Create drawings and details for parts and assemblies for our special order requests.

• Program our CNC machines as needed to support production demands.

• Generate bills of materials for special orders as needed.

• Ensure any special materials are ordered in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD

• Solid Edge/Solid Works

• Microsoft Office products

• Experience with Striker programming software would be an asset.

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) would be an asset

• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

• A highly developed set of time management skills

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause solutions

• Proven ability to learn in a fast-paced project environment

• Strong communication skills to engage with all stakeholders in the company

• Ability to manage competing priorities
