Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team in the Mumbai region of Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and engineering, with a focus on creating and optimizing designs for valves, tubes, and fittings. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing detailed engineering drawings and specifications, utilizing software tools such as AutoCAD and Creo for 2D and 3D design. Your expertise in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) will be crucial in ensuring that designs meet industry standards and specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and refine designs for mechanical components, including valves, tubes, and fittings. - Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation to support manufacturing processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and timelines. - Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve product functionality and manufacturability. - Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure accurate documentation for production. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in design technologies. Required Skills: - Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Creo for 2D and 3D modeling. - Strong understanding of mechanical components and their applications in various industries, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing. - Experience with GD&T principles and their application in engineering drawings. - Ability to prepare and manage BOMs effectively. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
