About the Role
Basscomm Group Limited, a Mechanical and Electrical Contractor operating across Nigeria, is seeking a Design Engineer to support engineering design, tender preparation, project assessment, and client management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engineering designs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), including value engineering where required.
- Conduct site inspections and develop suitable engineering designs and technical solutions.
- Prepare, review, and update engineering drawings to meet technical standards and customer requirements.
- Review tender documents, conduct pricing, and prepare proposals and quotations.
- Build and maintain relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Coordinate documentation and compile tender and bid submissions.
- Manage Engineering and Commercial Management Information Systems (MIS) and related reports.
- Manage assigned customer accounts and respond to client enquiries and correspondence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
