Design Engineer: Bridge Construction Equipment

DEAL - Solutions that make the difference is recruiting a Design Engineer to develop safe, reliable mechanical and industrial engineering solutions for the Equipment Division. You will produce designs, calculations, drawings and documentation for tendering and project execution, collaborating with project teams to meet standards and customer expectations.

Based in our offices in Udine (Cargnacco area) with occasional site missions, the role reports to the Head of Engineering and requires a

Develop engineering designs and technical solutions for tendering and project execution. Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications and documentation. Perform analyses to ensure safety, reliability and feasibility. Support selection and optimization of solutions for cost and constructability. Identify technical issues and propose corrective actions. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure deliverables align with schedules. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 2–3 years of experience in mechanical/industrial design, preferably heavy equipment. Knowledge of structural analysis and engineering calculation principles. Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD). Good knowledge of mechanical design, drawings and standards. Strong English knowledge. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented and able to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
