Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate ECC remedial works design in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Coordinate structural plans, drawings, and design details with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Prepare and review temporary works designs and related engineering documentation.
• Review and evaluate design submissions from subcontractors for compliance with project requirements.
• Assist in resolving design-related technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and method statements where required.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, project specifications, and company quality standards.
• Attend technical coordination meetings and liaise with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain proper design documentation, drawing revisions, and engineering records.
• Perform other engineering duties assigned by the Design Manager or Project Manager.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in construction industry.
• Candidates with relevant construction or infrastructure project experience will have an added advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Revit or other engineering design software is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
