Design Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate ECC remedial works design in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.
- Coordinate structural plans, drawings, and design details with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Prepare and review temporary works designs and related engineering documentation.
- Review and evaluate design submissions from subcontractors for compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in resolving design-related technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and method statements where required.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, project specifications, and company quality standards.
- Attend technical coordination meetings and liaise with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain proper design documentation, drawing revisions, and engineering records.
- Perform other engineering duties assigned by the Design Manager or Project Manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Candidates with relevant construction or infrastructure project experience will have an added advantage.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Revit or other engineering design software is an advantage.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
