NexWafe is pioneering a new class of EpiNex® engineered silicon wafers for high-performance solar applications.
As a Design Engineer (m/f/d), you will use structural and thermo-mechanical simulations to improve the design and performance of our CVD tools and components. You will translate simulation results into practical design recommendations and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to validate and implement improvements.

As a Design Engineer (m/f/d), you will use structural and thermo-mechanical simulations to improve the design and performance of our CVD tools and components. You will translate simulation results into practical design recommendations and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to validate and implement improvements.

- Execute structural (mechanical) and/or multi-disciplinary simulations
- Own pre-processing CAD models, improve work flow and processing efficiency
- Generate context & requirements for simulations through collaborating within the team and with the other teams
- Analyse data and integrate with simulation results for engineering decisions
- Present findings and recommendations to the team and in Design Reviews
- Masters degree in mechanical/aerospace/materials/electrical engineering or related field
- 2-5 years of design experience
- Experience with COMSOL/Ansys for FEA of composite structures including dynamics.
- Thermo-mechanical analysis experience is highly desired.
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Self-starting and highly collaborative
- Curious mindset and strong problem-solving attitude
- Excellent communication skills
