Design Engineer
Job description
- Create and update 3D models, detailed drawings and design documentation using CAD tools.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance checks to validate designs.
- Support prototype builds, testing, and analyse results for design improvements.
- Work with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
- Interpret specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards to guide design work.
- Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and document design outputs.
- Troubleshoot design issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Share knowledge with peers and contribute to process or workflow improvements.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proficient in CAD software, preferably in AutoCad & SolidWorks
- Preferably with knowledge in Jigs & Fixtures design
- Experience in the semiconductor industry.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
