Design Engineer – Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and hydraulic systems in accordance with industry standards, sound engineering practices, and contractual requirements

• Perform the design, sizing, selection, and integration of steel structures and mechanical and hydraulic components

• Prepare mechanical and hydraulic system drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and relevant project documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals

• Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at the factory and container terminals

• Provide engineering support and technical advice to the Sales, After-Sales, and Production departments

• Conduct user training when required

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience

• Experience in designing machinery, mechanisms, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems, preferably within heavy industries such as cranes or construction equipment

• Proficiency in 3D CAD design and the ability to perform engineering calculations and analyses in accordance with industry standards

• Knowledge of steel fabrication and machining processes would be advantageous

• Experience in design setup, component selection, testing, and troubleshooting is preferred
