Design Engineer – Plastic Components (f/m/x)
- Design plastic components and injection-molded parts with a strong focus on manufacturability
- Collaborate closely with Industrial Design and translate design requirements into technically feasible solutions
- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments
- Handle technical clarification and coordination with suppliers
- Experience in selecting suitable plastic materials and a solid understanding of their properties
- Experience with manufacturing processes for plastic components, particularly injection molding and structural foam molding
- Experience with CAD design; SolidWorks and/or Creo experience is an advantage
- Experience with rapid prototyping and small-batch production of plastic components
- Strong team player with flexibility and a high level of quality awareness
- Excellent spatial visualization skills and a passion for designing and optimizing both new and existing products

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market.
