Design Engineer
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Blend product design with front-end engineering, carrying user-facing features from early concept through production release. Partner directly with company leadership and end users to convert feedback into polished experiences for people without a technical background.
What you'll do
- Design and build production interfaces for complex, multi-step workflows so they feel simple to people without technical training.
- Join customer calls, collect usability requests first-hand and turn them into shipped improvements.
- Own new product flows from zero to one, from first concept through launch.
- Work side by side with the founders and a small team where design capacity is a key constraint.
- Produce designs in a design tool and, where possible, commit code changes directly to the codebase.

- A portfolio showing work you personally conceived, built and released.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week.
